Getting Started with the Diviner One Community
Diviner One is what I like to call a "human-first app." Which simply means that my dream is for it to facilitate real connection over automation and stats that look like progress but don't really change that much. So it shouldn't surprise you that a community feature is a centerpiece in the app.
Community is how we change the world afterall. I invite you to share wins, ask questions, and connect with other small business owners who are looking to grow. Let's do this together!
- Chris
What You Can Do
- Create Posts - Share updates, ask questions, or celebrate wins
- Comment - Join conversations and provide feedback on posts
- @Mention - Tag other users to get their attention or give kudos
- React - Show appreciation with emoji reactions (👍 ⭐ 🎉 👏 😂)
- Customize Your Identity - Change how your name and business appear to others
Note: The Community is public to all authenticated Diviner One users, creating a shared space for knowledge exchange across our customer base.
What You Can't Do
- Private messages - If you want to connect with someone I recomend sharing a social link
- Break the rules - Please make sure you understand our community guidelines.
Accessing the Community
Navigate to the Community from your dashboard sidebar. On your first visit, you'll be asked to accept our Community Guidelines. Once accepted, you're ready to start connecting!
Best Practices
Choose the Right Channel
Post in the most relevant channel (e.g., Feature Requests for suggestions, Wins for celebrating success) to help others find your content
Write Clear Titles
Your post title is the first thing people see. Make it descriptive and specific (e.g., "How do you handle negative reviews?" rather than just "Question")
Use @Mentions Thoughtfully
Tag users when you want their specific input or to give them credit, but avoid over-mentioning. Each mention creates a notification for that person
React to Show Support
Reactions are a quick way to show appreciation without cluttering threads with comments. A 👍 or ⭐ goes a long way
Keep Comments Relevant
Stay on topic when commenting. If you want to discuss something different, create a new post instead
Update Your Profile
Set your display name and business name so other users know who they're talking to. Click the settings icon in the community header
Check in Regularly
The community is most valuable when people participate regularly. Check for new posts, respond to mentions, and share your own insights
Share Resources
When posting, use the external URL field to share helpful articles, templates, or examples that support your post
